Commissioners announce the Best of Class at Eastern

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is honoring more than 200 senior students from
30 public and non-public high schools throughout Camden County as the 2025 Best of the
Class. 

The awards honor students in eight categories: Most Courageous; Community Service; Leadership; Performing Arts; Most Improved; School Spirit; Best Overall; and the newest category, All-Star Athlete. 
We congratulate the following Eastern Regional High School students who were among the
awards recipients:

Most improved: Aidan Walker

Performing arts: Andrew Rickey

Most courageous: Gianna Ezeiruaku

School spirit: Ashley Stanz

Best Overall: Tripat Dhanoa

Summer hours for the Voorhees town hall will be in effect through Tuesday, Sept. 2. They are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The office will be closed on Fridays.

The Voorhees Cultural & Diversity Committee invites you to join them on Saturday, June 21,
for a Freedom Day celebration in honor of Juneteenth. The free event will take place from 1
to 4 p.m. at Connolly Park. Activities include music, performances, food trucks, arts and crafts

The 2025 summer concert Series at Connolly Park is back! Come out with your chairs and blankets and enjoy these great free shows. The first is on Thursday, June 26, at 7 p.m., and will feature The FM Band. The second show is on Thursday, July 17, also at 7 p.m., with Tramps Like Us, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band. On Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m., the Beat Tells will entertain the audience with their tribute to
the Beatles.

The shows will be even more enjoyable with a Dooney’s Pub mobile bar and a

Poll workers are needed for the June 10 primary. Serve your community on Election Day! You need to be a
