Santa’s ‘taste test’

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to the library on Friday at 10:30 a.m. to share stories and songs, then decorate a cookie to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve. “We may need to decorate one for ourselves, too,” the library noted on its website. “Just as a taste test.” The event is free, but requires registration in advance on the Deptford Library website. Sign-ups will close a half-hour prior to the event.
