Asad’s Hot Chicken is expanding to Vineland, taking over the former Boston Market and Sunrise Social Express building, at 301 S. Main Road in front of the Maintree Shopping Center, according to multiple sources.
This highly anticipated spot brings Philadelphia’s viral, 100 percent Halal Nashville-style hot chicken to Cumberland County. While the brand initially seemed to keep expansion quiet, a large “Coming Soon” banner featuring the Asad’s Hot Chicken logo and signature chicken sandwich now hangs on the building.
Building renovations are underway and the official exterior of the shopping center’s leasing brochure by RJ Brunelli Retail Leasing Specialist shows the location as occupied by Asad’s.
Asad’s Hot Chicken was founded by Asad Khan. It features crispy fried chicken tenders, loaded fries, mac and cheese bowls, and large chicken sliders topped with cheese, coleslaw, pickles, and signature Asad’s sauce. Prices typically range from $10 to $20 per meal.
Diners can expect their signature menu of chicken sliders, tenders, and loaded fries topped with cheese, coleslaw, pickles, and the famous house sauce. The customizable spice meter ranges from “No Spice” up to the fiery “Scorchin’.” No official opening date has been announced yet, but progress is moving rapidly.
