When a teen is struggling, the whole family feels it. Let’s talk about how to help—together, in a safe and honest space. Every last Tuesday of the month, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers a free virtual presentation on youth mental health.
Join in for NAMI’s Ending the Silence for Families, a free presentation for families, caregivers of teens, and community members. Attendees will learn more about youth mental health, signs and symptoms of a problem, and how to best support a teen who is facing mental health challenges. What to expect:
• Information about mental health and symptoms of mental health conditions
• Information about navigating mental health challenges and crises with youth
• Personal testimonies from fellow parents and young adults
• Resources for families and teens
• Honest, nonjudgmental conversation in a safe space
