Let’s Wear Red!

February is heart health month and February 7 was National Wear Red Day to support the American Heart Association (AHA). Members of the Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) followed suit, walking at the Cumberland Mall in their red attire to support AHA. Red is worn on this date to raise awareness, encouraging people to pay attention to their heart health and take steps to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

It’s not just in February that we need to be aware of our hearts! Per AHA, “Heart disease is the #1 killer worldwide and stroke ranks second globally.” AHA is an excellent resource for learning about heart health and achieving/maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
