In November, the New Jersey State Federation of Woman’s Clubs (NJSFWC) celebrated its 130th anniversary. In recognition of this, NJSFWC challenged each member Woman’s Club throughout the state to collect 130 books for distribution in the community. Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) took on the challenge.

Barbara Westog, the Club’s Financial Secretary, spearheaded this project and 196 children’s books were collected. Recently, Barbara met with Jo Ann Burns, principal of the Child Family Center, to donate the books to their library. Burns expressed her gratitude for the donation, knowing the books will be enjoyed by the children. In fact, two children, Ajoure Lindsey and Oaklynn Garrison, joined Burns in thanking the MWC.
