Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High St., Millville. Third Friday at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts is presented by PNC Arts Alive. Main Gallery – Gray: By its very nature, the color gray is diplomatic, as it negotiates the distance between two opposites: white and black. Come out to see the winners of our People’s Choice awards from January votes!
Witt Gallery – Affiliate Artist Member show: Annual group show for our artist members to share three to five new works. Art in the exhibition includes ceramics, jewelry, paintings in many mediums and styles.
Atrium Gallery – New solo exhibit by Larissa Silva, a contemporary mixed-media artist whose artworks exhibit abstraction, contrast, and texture. She is a dedicated middle school art teacher in Bridgeton. She holds a BA in Art and Education from Rowan University and graduated in 2022. Her 2D abstract, bold compositions are inspired by the Maurice River fauna, near where she currently lives with her husband and youngest son. When Larissa travels internationally to visit family, she often schedules time with local artisans to explore their native art-making techniques and styles, which inspire her art-making process.
Associate Artist Alcove: Jack Denby McGovern: Jack has focused on the depiction of dance through drawing, painting, and printmaking. The exhibit features large artworks on paper, using a variety of materials.
