Representatives from the local American Institute of Architects (AIA) visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County to do a S.T.E.A.M. activity with club kids. They guided the young people in making spaghetti marshmallow towers. This was part of the club’s “Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead” program, which is supported by the Corning Foundation.

It also was a part of Architecture Week that is celebrated nationwide to recognize the power of good design and inspiring youth to become design professionals. Prizes were presented for best tower designs and the young people cannot wait for another fun and exciting S.T.E.A.M. session.
