January 6 was a day to stay home due to the snow and ice, so the Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) postponed its first meeting of the year to January 15. On the 15th, Pam McNamee, MWC president, welcomed members and thanked Joann Ayres and Beth Oliver for the soup and salad luncheon they provided on a chilly but sunny day. As members finished dessert, Barbara Westog, MWC Education Committee, introduced two Millville High School seniors to share a little about their activities and aspirations.

She was a Capital Covery Center Summer Intern in 2023. Following graduation, Macey plans to go to college and major in animal biology and education.
Cam’Ariah Taylor is a member of Student Council, Leaders Club and Student Voice Committee. Her studies include CP Geometry, US History, Algebra, Phys Ed, Advanced Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Psychology, English, Child Development, Culinary Arts, Photography and Ceramics. She is involved in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). Cam’Ariah described herself as a fast learner who enjoys meeting new people, visiting new places and being in a healthy environment. Following graduation, she plans to go to college to become a lawyer or a physical therapist.
Once again, MWC members were impressed with the achievements of these young ladies and expressed their thanks and best wishes to them as they pursue their goals. Macey and Cam’Ariah were presented with certificates of thanks and WAWA gift cards.

Linda Green, MWC Program Committee chair, then introduced Christina Snyder of Pulse Vascular. Snyder, pictured here, gave an informative talk regarding peripheral arterial disease (PAD), symptoms that could be signs of PAD, and factors that may put people at risk. After her talk she added some fun in the form of a game, asking questions about the information presented and providing the first person giving the correct answer with gift bags.
