While this is the time of year when high school or college seniors are getting ready for graduation and moving onto a new time of their lives, the seniors over 55 are also embarking on a new life chapter.

It was a full house at this year’s Coffee and Conversation Breakfast on May 15 when nearly 50 area residents gathered to learn more about “what next” and to get their questions answered about aging, retirement, finances, and health.

Participants at the breakfast presentation heard speakers from Angelic Health Palliative and Hospice Care, Bratton Law, and Big Oak Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and learned about the five most important documents they should have, and what programs and services support life-changing events. Special thanks for the hospitality of Golden Palace Diner & Restaurant in Vineland.

Presenters included Jen Hand, elder care coordinator at Bratton Law; Gina Mecholsky, liaison/director of marketing at Big Oak Rehab; Heather Hernon, business development manager with Angelic Health; and Claire Merendino, elder care coordinator at Bratton Law.
