Winslow Township has completed the construction of four new pickleball courts at Iuilluicci Park.
Each court is painted to official pickleball standards and fenced in. They were completely paid for under a grant Winslow applied for from the state.
Public works directly managed the construction to further save on costs. The new courts are located at the Summer Drive entrance to Iuilluicci Park and are open from dawn to dusk.
In other news, plastic trash bags cannot go in the recycling container; the recycling plant will not accept any loads with them. Please put recyclables in the green lid can loosely or in paper bags.Â
Recyclable materials consist of most plastic containers, paper, cardboard, glass and metal and tin food cans. Examples of items that are not recyclable are hoses, Styrofoam and kids toys.
