Feb. 5 – 1-2 p.m. – History of the African American Spiritual at M. Allan Vogelson Regional Library in Voorhees.

Feb. 5 – 6-7 p.m. – Town Hall will be held at Atlantic Avenue Elementary School. Congressman Donald Norcross, Camden County Commissioners Director Louis Cappelli, Jr., Assemblyman Bill Spearman and Mayor Zachary Houck of Haddon Heights will be in attendance.

Blood Drive

The American Red Cross urges donors to make an appointment to give blood or platelets now to keep the blood supply into 2026. Types O, A negative and B negative blood donors are especially needed now.

The Red Cross is also teaming up with Pro Football Champion and blood donor Saquon Barkley to urge donors to make appointments now to help save lives this winter.

If you’re unable to give blood or platelets, consider making a financial donation to support the organization’s lifesaving mission at redcross.org.

Wednesday, Feb. 11

Winslow Township Board of Education meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the administration building.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

Black History Month Community event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Timber Creek Regional High School.

Thursday, Feb. 19

Gloucester Township schools present second annual community resource fair from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Glenn Landing Gymnasium. Monday, Feb. 23

Each February, Gloucester Township Mayor and Council proudly celebrate Black History Month by recognizing outstanding African American members of their community between 7 to 8 p.m., 1261 Chews Landing.

Tuesday, Feb. 24

Coffee with a Vet will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, 1261 Chews Landing Road.
