Unofficial: Delran election results

Voters in Delran Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for the board of education.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website that are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.

Delran Board of Education

Seven candidates vied for three, three-year term seats.

As of Nov. 5, newcomer Nicole Flaherty leads with 3,717 votes, followed by newcomer Chris Calla with 3,836 and incumbent Michael Mongon with 2,111.

Candidate Nancy Evans got 2,059 votes, candidate Patricia Griffith got 1,911, incumbent Mark Chierici received 1,769 and Bill Spych Jr. received 1,435.

There are 61 write-in votes.
