Summer always brings with it the chance of strong storms which lead to power outages. Your best bet is to always shelter in place with supplies, if possible, but what if you have to go out? Do you remember what your driver’s manual says about driving during a power outage?
Flashing red lights should be treated as a stop sign. Do not assume cross traffic also has a red. For flashing yellow lights, proceed with caution. This means slow down and look. If the lights are completely out, treat it as four-way stop.
