Cpl. Christopher Foster responded to a call about an animal in the ShopRite parking lot on June 3 that turned out be a kitten stuck in the engine compartment of a vehicle. The Harrison Township Fire Department put the vehicle on stilts and Foster freed the kitten, which was turned over to Gloucester County Animal Control.
“The kitten may be up for adoption soon,” the police noted on Facebook, “but we’ll be keeping the corporal.”
