Vixxen is a 7-year young and female pit bull terrier who weighs about 66 pounds. During her time with us, we have observed she is completely housebroken, friendly with other dogs and cats, playful with children, and has the most affectionate and easygoing personality. She is the perfect mix of mellow maturity and fun-loving spirit! Vixxen’s bags are packed, her tail is wagging, and she is ready to find her forever home. Could it be with you?

Vixxen is available for adoption at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 North Delsea Drive, Clayton, 08312. To learn more about Vixxen or adopt her, contact us at (856) 881-2828 or visit our website.

Dexter

This is our 16-week-old miniature dachshund Dexter. He loves his farm animal chew toys, sunbathing, and cuddling with his parents. We haven’t had him very long but we are overjoyed to have him join our family.

Teddy

This is my goofy Chihuahua rescue, Teddy Graham. Teddy is 8 years old and originally from Camden. He loves his belly rubs, bones, and peeing on neighbors’ yards while making eye contact with them. He follows it up by kicking dirt up just to add salt to the wound.

Bear

Bear is 3 years old and doing pet therapy with FURever as Friends, at Charles Harker School in Swedesboro, for Dr. Seuss Read Across America.

THE GOOD LIFE

Eleanor Hope Fuhs’ obituary is a long one, full of accomplishments, love for family and an ending that came only after a fight. Known as Dr. Hope, “she was a literal genius, a mathematician, a teacher, a musician and an artist,” that obituary notes. “She was a trailblazer in education who selflessly steered her students, colleagues and her family with love, a sense of humor and a quiet fortitude.”
