
The Mullica Hill community is invited to the library on Friday, Sept. 13, for “Mental Health Spotlight: Finding Help in Gloucester County,” a presentation that will focus on connecting residents with local mental-health resources.
In conjunction with September as Suicide Prevention Month around the country, the library talks will be led by representatives from the county’s Office of Mental Health and its Division of Addiction Services, as well as New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S), which offers free support and how to access it.
The presentation schedule follows:
Noon: NJ4S
NJ4S is a prevention-focused program to support the mental, emotional and social well-being of youth and families across the state through school and community-based workshops on topics like substance use prevention, healthy relationships and digital safety.
1 p.m.:Â Suicide Prevention Services, Gloucester County Office of Mental Health
Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services (PESS), ARRIVE, Mental Health Urgent Care, Inpatient Psychiatric Beds and a Behavioral Health and Addictions Resources Team (BART).
2 p.m.: Gloucester County Division of Addiction Services
