A menorah on parade

The Chabad Jewish Center of Gloucester County hosted its annual menorah parade and Chocolate Gelt Drop on Dec. 29 to celebrate Chanukah.

The event featured cars along Mullica Hill Road that were decorated with menorahs, a fire juggling act and fireworks. Participants included the Harrison Township Fire District, township police and the Harrisonville Fire Department.

“A heartfelt thank you to Rabbi Avi (Richler) for organizing this wonderful event that brings us all together,” Deputy Mayor Lawrence Moore noted on Facebook. “Chanukah reminds us that even the smallest light can shine brightly in the darkest moments, spreading warmth, hope, and joy to all.”
