Members of the Harrison Township Police Department were recognized for their service in the line of duty during the Gloucester County police awards banquet on Oct. 10. Sgt. Christopher Cartella, Cpl. Kevin McGowan and officers Gregory Germscheid and Thomas Watts each received the lifesaving award, while Sgt. Brent Datz got the Unit Citation Award for his contributions to the county SWAT team.
