The Mullica Hill library will hosts a lecture on how to effectively read a painting on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m.

The lecture will be a guide to basic visual analysis, reviewing some of the more common symbols and tropes seen in Western painting. It will also provide examples and practice in visual and contextual analysis while examining a variety of artworks.
