I hope you and your family have been enjoying a wonderful holiday season.

On Dec. 31, we welcomed the New Year, a unique moment that invites us to pause and reflect on the past year. It’s a time to celebrate our successes, learn from our challenges and embrace the lessons they’ve brought. The New Year also brings the promise of a fresh start, with excitement and hope as we look forward to the possibilities that the year ahead may hold.

In 2025, Harrison Township will welcome new voices and perspectives to our township committee with the addition of incoming committeemen Adam Wingate and TJ Coakley. I am confident that their energy and dedication will help our community continue to thrive. At the same time, we recognize the contributions of outgoing Committeewoman Michelle Powell. Michelle, your service and commitment have been invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for all you have done to help shape Harrison Township.

On a personal note, 2025 marks a significant milestone for me as I step away from my role as mayor after 17 years. Serving this amazing community has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Thank you for allowing me to do so and for your trust, your partnership and your support over the years.

Together with my fellow township committee members, Deputy Mayor Lawrence Moore, Committeewoman Powell and committeemen Jeff Jacques and Kevin French, we extend our warmest wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to you and your families.
