A Mount Laurel woman recently charged with abusing two children in her home daycare has now been accused of mistreating four more, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and township Police Chief Timothy Hudnall.
Danielle Ingraham, of the 300 block of Evergreen Road, was charged March 20 with four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and four counts of Cruelty to a Child. She surrendered to authorities and was released following an initial appearance in Superior Court. The case will now go to a grand jury for possible indictment.
Ingraham allegedly caused injuries to a 5-month-old child’s head, eyes and wrist that required hospitalization; shook a 7-month-old; injured the cheek of a 10-month-old; and caused visible injuries to the face and back of a 13-month-old, officials said.
The investigation began when one infant was taken to a pediatrician for treatment of a bruised eye after being picked up from Ingraham’s residence. She is accused of slapping the infant, as well as a toddler also in her charge, officials said.
Anyone with information concerning the defendant and the charges against her is asked to contact the prosecutor’s office at tips@co.burlington.nj.us or township police at tips@mountlaurelpd.org.
