Township tree-lighting is set

The township is again partnering with the Rancocas Woods Business Association for its annual tree lighting on Thursday, Dec. 4.

The association is a nonprofit whose goal is to preserve and revitalize the Shops at Rancocas Woods and the surrounding area. It hosts various events and fundraisers throughout the year to support township celebrations and local small businesses.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at 118 Creek Road. Parking will be at the former Cater2U property and Fleetwood School. Shuttles will be provided from both areas.

Activities will include holiday gift shopping at the shops along Creek Road, a winter-themed bounce house, hot chocolate from Four Green Cats Café, food trucks, photos with Santa and the Grinch. Santa will arrive via the township fire department truck at 6 p.m., then light the tree outside Creek Mercantile.
