Story Time: Ages 2 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Join in stories, song, and rhymes with a new theme explored every week.

Knit and crochet afternoon meetup: For ages 18 and up. 1 to 3 p.m. Beginners to experts are welcome and participants must bring their own materials. No registration required.

Tai Chi for health: Ages 18 and up. 4 to 5 p.m. with certified instructor Bob Stanton. Class can be done seated or standing. Registration is required at www.mountlaurel.librarycalendar.com

ESL conversation class with NJ Literacy: Ages 18 and up. 6 to 8 p.m. For upper-level beginners to lower-level intermediate learners. Visit www.literacynj.org/burlington-student-application to apply.

Thursday, Jan. 8

Tumblin’ Tots: Ages 3 to 5. Sessions are 10:30 to 11 a.m. and 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. for an energetic movement class. Registration with a current township library card is required at www.mountlaurel.librarycalendar.com

Friday, Jan. 9

La Hora del Cuento en Español: Ages 2 to 5. 11:30 a.m. to noon. Includes Spanish story time and learning through the imitation of songs, verses and games.

Knit and crochet: For ages 18 and up. 1 to 3 p.m. Beginners to experts are welcome. Participants must bring their own materials. No registration required.

Saturday, Jan. 10

Chess club: All ages. 2 to 3 p.m. New and experienced players are invited for a game of chess. The library staff will provide chess board and participants can bring their own. No registration required.

Monday, Jan. 12

Move and Groove: Ages 18 months to 5. 10:30 to 11 a.m. Weekly outdoor event enables kids to learn with music through rhymes, songs and dance-alongs and learn new dance moves. No registration required.

Silent Book Club: Ages 18 and up. Every other Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For residents who seek quiet reading and/or gathering with other book lovers. Visit the library website for dates.

Knit and crochet: Ages 18 and up. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Beginners to experts are welcome. No registration required.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

Mahjong: Ages 18 and up. 1 to 4 p.m. Learn the tile-based game of strategy and skill. Some experience is recommended. Participants may bring a National Mahjong League 2023 card and game set. No registration required.
