Tai Chi for Health:Â For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. This class can be done seated or standing. Music for Adults with Disabilities: For ages 18 years and up. 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join Mr. Jim Gaven for a fun, interactive music program designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This program will include sing-a-longs, guided percussion activities, and sign language through song. Interested participants should note that the library does not provide respite care; caregivers are required to stay with adults who need them. Adults who do not require a caregiver are also welcome to attend. Registration is required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us (register participants only; no need to register caregivers).

Baby & Me Meetup:Â For newborns to 18 months. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mount Library. Join in for an informal, unstructured meetup for caregivers of babies. Parents and caregivers may bring a coffee and snacks while they chat with other caregivers. The library will provide developmentally appropriate toys and books to play with. No registration required.

Back to School Bag and Clothes Drive: All residents. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3201 NJ-38, building 103. Local nonprofit I Am Unique is hosting a back-to-school donation drive. The event will include barbecue, free book bags filled with school supplies, free henna design, face painting, hair stylist for kids, raffles, a live DJ, and more. Musicals – Little Shop of Horrors: For ages 18 years and up. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. The off-Broadway sensation of 1982, from Alan Menken and Howard Menken (“The Little Mermaid,” and “Beauty and the Beast”), becomes a musical romp. In this 1986 film, Ellen Greene reprises her stage role as Audrey, and Rick Moranis plays a nebbish flower store clerk. A man-eating plant and Steve Martin also star. This movie is rated PG-13 (for comic horror violence, substance abuse, language, and sexual references). It is 94 minutes. Hosted by Irv Slifkin. No registration required.Â

Join the library staff every other Saturday for stories, songs, and more as we explore new books from their collection.
