Tai Chi for Health: Ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. This class can be done seated or standing. Family Movie – The Wild Robot: For children and families. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Families are invited to join the library staff in their craft room for an open-door screening of the 2024 animated film “The Wild Robot.”
The synopsis of the film is: After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.
This event will have rugs laid out on the floor, as well as chairs for seating. Participants may bring a snack and drop in to enjoy a movie in an informal setting. No registration required

Monday, July 7
Move and Groove: Ages 18 months to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join in for this weekly outdoor event where participants will be able to celebrate music through rhymes, songs, and dance-alongs. This program will give kids a chance to learn new dance moves and get active. No registration required.

Mahjong: Ages 18 years and up. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Mahjong is a popular tile-based game of strategy and skill. Some experience is recommended for this event. Participants may bring a National Mahjong League 2023 card and a mahjong set. No registration required.
