Tai Chi for Health: Ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. This class can be done seated or standing. ESL Conversation Class with NJ Literacy: Ages 18 years and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. This ESL class is for upper level beginner to lower level intermediate learners. La Hora del Cuento en Español: Ages 2 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join the library to enjoy Spanish Storytime and learn through the imitation of songs, verses, and games while the class immerses in a new culture and language. This program will contribute to the integral development of children, cultivating the growth of imagination and meaningful exploration.

Lunar New Year Crafts: All ages. 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Residents are invited to celebrate Lunar New Year with a variety of crafts. The library will have Chinese knotting, paper cutting, calligraphy, and a paper snake craft. Registration is required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us.
Lunar New Year Celebration: All residents. 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Residents are invited to a Lunar New Year Celebration performance by students from Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School. Performances will include music, dance, and martial arts. No registration required.

Mahjong: Ages 18 years and up. 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Mahjong is a popular tile-based game of strategy and skill. Some experience is recommended for this event. Participants may bring a National Mahjong League 2023 card and a mahjong set. No registration required.
