Lenape stages ‘Charlie’

Lenape High School wil stage “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” from Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20 to 22.

The play is based on a 1964 story by author Roald Dahl about the adventures of young Charlie Bucket, who finds himself inside the chocolate factory of eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka. It was originally inspired by Dahl’s experience in chocolate companies during his school days in England.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and children. Show times are 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
