Moorestown’s annual holiday parade will step off at noon on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the corner of Central and Chester avenues, proceed up Main Street, then make its way down to Church Street. A reviewing stand will be at the corner of Church and Main.

The Moorestown Lions Club will offer a Quiet Zone, just as was done for the July 4th parade. People with PTSD, hearing aids, Autism, Alzheimer’s, and others who are disturbed by loud noises will be able to enjoy a quiet version of the parade (no sirens/horns from fire trucks and the bands will play at a reduced volume) from Central and Chester Avenues to Main Street. Once the parade turns on Main Street, they will be at full volume. The parade will be led by township council; Monique Begg, 2024 Citizen of The Year; Ms. Senior New Jersey; and John Dietz, president of the Moorestown Lions Club.

There will also be bagpipers, an appearance by the Aqua and Woodland string bands and the Burlington County Special Services and Moorestown High bands, dance teams, fire trucks, emergency vehicles and antique cars.

To participate, contact Pete Thorndike at (856) 912-8622 or at Pthorndike01@gmail.com.
