Public forum on water main project

Moorestown’s residents and business owners are invited to attend a public forum on “Water Main Replacement Project, Phase 3” at Town Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Phase 3: Main Street between Chester Avenue and Church Street

The tentative plan for phase 3 of the project is still being finalized, and residents and businesses in the area are invited to attend the public discussion to provide feedback. At this time, the proposed plan is to schedule night work along Main Street for the summer of 2026.

Why is this work important? 

Homes along Main Street and connected streets are served by two aging water mains – one about 75 to 80 years old, the other around 100. As part of a multi-phase project, both mains will be replaced with modern pipe, and the road will be repaved once installation is complete. This project is a major capital investment in Moorestown’s infrastructure.
