The Moorestown Improvement Association (MIA) has a number of events planned for this spring. All MIA programs are free and open to the public, regardless of whether you’re a member of the organization. Through May 15 – Community House of Moorestown Essay Contest
The Community House of Moorestown invites high school juniors to answer the following prompt: “What does the Community House mean to the community?” The essay contest is open to all students regardless of school or town. Essays should be between 500 to 1,000 words and must be original work.
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to the first-place winner, along with two honorable mentions (prize amounts to be determined). Prizes are generously funded by Ann and Mark Baiada, founders of Bayada Home Health Care.
All submissions must be received by Friday, May 15. Essays must be emailed as a PDF attachment to pam@thecommunityhouse.com. Winners will be announced in June.
