FRIDAY, June 6

STEAM Grab and Go – Sun Prints. Moorestown Library. Stop by the library’s Youth Services and pick up a STEAM craft to make in the library or take home. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library.

Baby and Me Meetup. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m.

Burlington County Senior Art and Teen Arts Exhibit. Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery. 803 Smithville Road, Mount Holly. Enjoy art created by the county’s seniors ages 60 and older along with artwork made by Burlington County middle and high school students. Gallery hours are from noon to 4 p.m.

Exhibit: Trail and Camera: Photographer Ben Panter. Warden’s House Gallery. 150 High St., Mount Holly. Panter’s photographs are an interpretation of his experiences and emotions while hiking in nature. Through these images, he prolongs memories to share them with the viewer, pulling them into the same sense of wonder. Gallery hours are from noon to 4 p.m.

Barn to Bay: Art of the Penevs. Worker’s House and Gallery. 803 Smithville Road, Mount Holly. Angelina and Plamen Penev are award-winning artists who both paint in pastels and oils, often in plein air and alla prima. Their exhibition – “NJ- Barn to Bay” – is focused on paintings of scenes captured from the farmlands of Burlington County to the waves of the Jersey Shore. Gallery hours are from noon to 4 p.m.

SATURDAY, June 7

Moorestown Day. Moorestown’s Main Street. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A day of food, vendors, sidewalk sales, entertainment, live performances and fun for the whole family.

Scavenger Hunt for Children. Moorestown Library. 1 p.m. Pick up a sheet at the library’s Youth Services desk and search the room for the images pictured on the sheet. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Incredible Biodiversity of Costa Rica with Jen Bulava. Moorestown Library. 2 p.m. Park Naturalist Jen Bulava and her husband Damon Noe went on an epic birding and nature tour to Costa Rica earlier this year. The photos and stories from their journey will be on display in this presentation showcasing the biodiversity of Costa Rica. Register online through the library website calendar.

Complex PTSD Support Group and Book Club. The goal of this group is to provide encouragement, support and education in a safe environment for any adult who is struggling to overcome the effects of suffering from extended Complex-PTSD. For more information, visit the library website calendar.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group. The caregiver support group is for family and friends caring for a loved one with some type of dementia.
