Hugh Campbell Collection: From the Vault. Warden’s House Gallery. 150 High St. Hugh H. Campbell was an artist, published author, and philosopher who lived an extremely minimalistic life right in Mount Holly. Much of his collection has been stored away, deep within the county’s archives. This exhibit will grant a unique opportunity to view rare and never seen before art. The exhibit will feature paintings, sketches, pastel and chalk drawings, as well as early drawings of when Campbell began to learn and practice his art. Visiting hours are from noon to 4 p.m.

Moorestown Library. 2 p.m. Stockton University paleontologist Dr. Matthew Bonnan will present on dinosaurs and their world, including his team’s discovery of a new species of dinosaur in South Africa. Lecture: Life that Glows: UV-induced Visible Fluorescence. Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences. 2 p.m. Discover an intriguing hidden world of glowing organisms found right here in New Jersey. To find out what fluoresces in our area, Park Naturalist Jen Bulava started a series called “Life That Glows” where participants walk in the dark with special UV flashlights to find glowing life. This presentation displays the photographic observations from those outings and summarizes preliminary findings of Bulava’s research in this exciting new field to science, UVIVF. The Moorestown Library, MooreUnity and the Friends of Moorestown Library will host the second annual Human Library at 1 p.m. The Human Library is a library of people. Every Human Book represents a group in our society that is often subjected to prejudice, stigmatization or discrimination because of their lifestyle, diagnosis, belief, disability, social status, ethnic origin, etc. Readers can borrow human beings serving as open books and have conversations they would not normally have access to.
