Kids’ Chess Club. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m. For students in third through eighth grade. Learn the names of chess pieces, the rules of movements on the board and basic strategies for playing the game, then pair up with an opponent to play chess games. Inspiring Craft Day. Moorestown Library. 11 a.m. For children ages 5 to 12. Teen volunteers will help children create crafts. These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers in goodie bags that will also be made at the event. Register on the library website.
