Spice Grab and Go: Ground Cloves. Registration is not required. Available while supplies last. This spice can be used for cooking or baking. This spice was processed in a facility with nuts. Please do not use if you have a nut allergy. Sponsored by the Friends of the Moorestown Library.

SATURDAY, Jan. 11

Kids’ Chess Club. Moorestown Library. 10 a.m. For students in third through eighth grade. Learn the names of chess pieces, the rules of movements on the board and basic strategies for playing the game, then pair up with an opponent to play chess games. There will also be open play space for experienced chess players. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Inspiring Craft Day. Moorestown Library. 11 a.m. For children ages 5 to 12. Teen volunteers will help children create crafts. These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers in goodie bags that will also be made at the event. Register on the library website.

These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers along in goodie bags that will also be made at the event. Inspiring Life Together supports women undergoing breast cancer treatment and their families by funding and providing practical goods and services that support mental, physical, and emotional needs of the individual and/or household. TAB presents: Kids’ drop-in craft. Moorestown Library. 2 p.m. Drop into the Collab Lab to make moon dough with Teen Advisory Board volunteers, Lola, Tillie and Katherine. Sponsored by our Teen Advisory Board.

Knitting Group Meetup. Moorestown Library. 10:30 a.m. All levels of skill are welcome. Advanced knitters will be available for teaching and assistance.

Open Play Time. Moorestown Library. 10:30 a.m.

International Cinema and Discussion Night at the Moorestown Library at 6:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy old and contemporary movies from around the world, including but not limited to Europe, South America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles.
