Tickets are on sale for the Moorestown Home and School Association’s Black & Gold Social fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

The event is meant for parents to build connections that strengthen the schools and the township. It’s also a chance to gather with friends and celebrate community spirit while raising money for the association.

“Home and School is thrilled to bring this event to our community,” said the group’s president, Kristina Milligan. “It’ll help raise critical funds for our mission to enrich the lives of all students in our district. Home and School raises money and devotes thousands of volunteer hours toward supporting school assemblies, scholarships, author visits, equipment, school celebrations, community service opportunities, staff appreciation and so much more.”

Co-chaired by township residents Nina Galie and Stacey Breig, the Black & Gold Social will feature food stations and hors d’oeuvres, an open premium bar, valet parking, a silent auction and wine pull, a photo booth and music from a DJ.

The venue, the Madison in Riverside, is owned by a local Moorestown family and is underwriting a portion of the costs.

“The Black & Gold Social is more than just a night out, it’s a chance for the Moorestown community to come together in support of our schools,” Galie noted. “With music, a photo booth and a silent auction full of unique experiences, the evening promises fun and connection for parents and supporters.

“We invite everyone to purchase tickets, come together in school spirit and help make this an impactful fundraiser for our students and schools.”

“As owners of the Madison and as a family that lives in Moorestown, we believe in giving back to our community,” said Chris Kolovos. “It’s our privilege to provide our space and hospitality for the Black & Gold Social … and we are proud to contribute to this event to maximize its fundraising potential.”

In addition to activities like a poker session with a professional or a private virtual wine experience with Lynmar Estate, the silent auction will feature opportunities like a VIP graduation package, principal for the day and front-row seats for a school performance.
