Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges donors to keep the blood supply top of mind and help save lives by making an appointment to give blood or platelets. To thank donors who step up to the plate to help keep the supply strong during this time, NYBC is offering Mets-themed incentives through July 7: Community blood drive donors will receive a Mets-branded T-shirt. The Senior Group of Medford hosts a Pickleball program that is an inclusive and engaging opportunity for individuals aged 55 and older to learn and enjoy the game in a supportive environment. The sessions will include the basic fundamentals of Pickleball, ensuring that participants gain the necessary knowledge and skills to start playing confidently. No experience is required. Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
