At the Pinelands Library
April 10 – American Red Cross Blood Drive – 10 a.m.
The Pinelands Library is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive from 10am-3pm. It only takes 15 minutes of your day to save up to three lives. Appointments are preferred and can be scheduled on the Red Cross website at www.redcrossblood.org. Sponsor code is Medford Community.
You must weigh at least 110 lbs.
You must be at least 17 years old to donate or 16 years old with parent/guardian consent.
You must be in good health and feeling well.

April 14 – Steeped in History: Painting with Coffee – 6 p.m.
As we continue celebrating our upcoming 250th Anniversary, we are excited to launch this special guided painting class. In tribute to the political triumph achieved by the Colonists at the Boston Tea Party, participants will create artwork using a unique medium—a mixture of real brewed coffee. This special mixture will produce a sepia-toned “paint” to help commemorate our success in the harbor.
Get ready to blend creativity with storytelling, offering participants the opportunity to explore history through art. Attendees will leave with a beautiful coffee-painted artwork, a newfound appreciation for this unique art form and a meaningful souvenir celebrating our country’s history.
