Feeding spirit on MLK Day

The Evesham Youth Advisory Committee will hold its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, Jan. 19.

This year’s theme is “From Declaration to Dream: 250 Years of the American Promise.” The event will have students and township officials gather with friends and neighbors to reflect on the nation’s journey toward equality and the enduring legacy of King’s vision.

Residents are invited for a morning of community, reflection and inspiration as students honor Dr. King’s life and work. The breakfast will be held the Gibson House Community Center, 535 E. Main St.

Those who wish to attend must register through the link or QR code provided on the Evesham Township website.
