Youth group hosts young talent

The Evesham Township Youth Advisory Club hosted its inaugural talent show for students of all ages at the DeMasi Schools on May 14.

Participants showcased talents that included singing, dancing, playing music and performing poetry. Mayor Jackie Veasy, Deputy Mayor Heather Cooper, Burlington County Commissioner Randy Brolo and Evesham police officers were on hand to present awards.

Sponsors Raising Cane’s and Chick fil-A provided light snacks and refreshments, and the former also provided each participant with a drink gift card.

“From singing and dancing to so many unique talents, the students truly put on a great show,” the police department said in a statement.
