Township Zumba classes for seniors

Evesham Township is inviting residents 55 years and older to its Zumba class.

Zumba is a fitness program that combines dance movements with aerobic exercise. It is suitable for people of all ages, fitness levels and dance experience. It is also an engaging way to get in shape, socialize and relieve stress.

The classes are from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Feb. 11 at the Gibson House Community Center on East Main Street. The instructor will be Maryellen Blette.

Participants should wear sneakers, loose or workout clothing, and bring a small towel and water bottle. Staff at the community center can offer more information on the classes or how to sign up. Call (856) 985-9792. Fee for the whole schedule is listed on the township website.
