Evesham held an official groundbreaking earlier this month for the new driving range at the township’s Indian Spring Golf Course.

Once constructed, the expanded building will have a kitchen to offer orders of warm food and other concessions to customers, along with indoor and outdoor seating, multiple restrooms and facilities to serve as a mini-pro shop.

Construction of the new building is expected to continue into the summer and early fall. Mayor Jackie Veasy, Deputy Mayor Dr. Krystal Hunter, Councilwoman Heather Cooper, Councilman Joe Fisicaro Jr. and Councilman Christian Smith were in attendance to help break ground on the project. They were joined by staff from the course, township officials and Evesham’s engineering firm.
