Wednesday, Dec. 4

Intro to Pronunciator for Language Learning: For adults and senior citizens. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Participants will learn to navigate the Pronunciator language learning database, where they can choose from over 300 languages to learn, and select from almost 150 starting languages. Participants can explore the varied learning options Pronunciator offers, from general lessons, to personalized courses, to AI-powered live chat and grammar experts and native speaker media like podcasts, movies, and music. Participants must have basic computer skills for this class. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Gentle Chair Yoga: For adults and senior citizens. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This is a gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a wonderful way to move the body and increase flexibility using a chair for support. Perfect for those who are stiff, have limited mobility or have minor injuries. Understanding Body Image Perspectives and Impacts: For young adults and teens. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Ready to dive into the world of body image? This course unpacks everything from self-esteem to societal standards, exploring how media and culture shape our self-view. This class will tackle the good, the bad, and the transformative aspects of body image, and share tips for boosting confidence and positivity. Hosted by Planned Parenthood, expect engaging discussions, eye-opening insights, and practical strategies to help you and others embrace a healthier self-image. Join the library staff as residents turn their perspective on body image into a powerful force for good. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.


Evesham Township Council Meeting: All residents. 7 p.m. at the Evesham Township Municipal Building. The monthly meeting of the Evesham Township Council. No registration is required.

Thursday, Dec. 5

Start with Art: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Joins the library staff for a variety of winter holiday themed art stations for kids to get creative. Participants should dress for the mess. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Marlton Senior Club: Adult Seniors 55 and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month. Participants enjoy coffee, donuts and regularly scheduled games and other entertainment. No registration required.

Pride Time Game Board Night: Ages 13 to 17 years. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to game with friends at board game night. This event is for LGBTQ+ teens and allies. Games include Exploding Kittens, Clue, Uno, Taco, Cat, Goat Cheese Pizza, and more. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Friday, Dec. 6

Around the World Story Time: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for fun stories and activities. This class focuses on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. “Around the World Story Time” will focus on a different country each month. This month the class is “visiting” Japan. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Small Wonders Yoga: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. This yoga class is designed for preschool aged children, it will incorporate child-friendly yoga poses with stories/books, music, breathing exercises, and games. Children are encouraged to try the poses on their own, building self-confidence and body awareness. Classes are active and fun for all. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
