Wednesday, Dec. 17

Drop-in Tech Help: For adults. 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This program is for residents who may have questions about navigating their email, setting up a new device or using library resources like Libby and Udemy. This event is available on a drop-in basis. Interested residents may stop by whenever is most convenient for them, and the library staff will provide assistance for any technology needs.

Thursday, Dec. 18

Preschool STEAM Time: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. In this program, participants will be building on preschoolers’ natural curiosity by reading, singing, playing and creating to help develop their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) skills through play and exploration. After a quick storytime, children will rotate through stations. The library staff asks that caregivers come prepared to participate. This month the class will be learning about water, ice and snow. Be sure to dress for a mess. Marlton Senior Citizen Club: For ages 55 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 535 East Main Street. All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. Meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month at the Gibson House Community Center. Participants may enjoy coffee, donuts, regularly scheduled games, and other entertainment. Young Masters Art Program: For ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Participants will learn some background about an artist or an art technique then create a piece of art inspired by the lesson. This week the class is continuing their “Elements of Art” series. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

ELL – Conversation Circle: For adults. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This is an event designed for English Language Learners (ELL) who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics and activities including introducing their-self, sharing interests, exploring traditions and more. This program is presented by library staff.

Friday, Dec. 19

Baby Time: For babies and toddlers. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a fun-filled interactive event, which includes stories, rhymes, movement, and more. This class will focus on baby’s early language and literacy understanding through stories and repetitive rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this bonding experience. Baby Time is also a place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Join Miss Michelle as she focuses on the theme zoo animals. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Monday, Dec. 22

Fit & Fun Time: Ages 2 and-a-half to 5 years old. Residents are invited to join the certified teachers from Housel Fun & Fitness for their Fun & Fitness Show. This active read-aloud will get children up and moving while being entertained by great books. This program is presented by Mark Housel and the Housel Fun & Fitness team, all certified teachers with personal and professional experience in physical education.

Cozy Crochet: Ages 13 to 16 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from the library’s pattern selectionBeginners are welcome and can learn basic stitches to get started on a project.
