Gentle Chair Yoga: For seniors. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join this gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a way to move the body and increase flexibility using a chair as support. This class is ideal foe those who are stiff, have limited mobility or minor injuries. ELL: Conversation Circle: Seniors and adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library is hosting an event designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics and activities – including introducing oneself, sharing interests, exploring traditions, and more. Around the World Story Time: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join the library for fun stories and activities. This class focuses on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Around the World Story Time will focus on a different country each month. This month the class is “visiting” Kenya. Zendoodle Time: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:40 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with very little stress. Participants may also bring music to listen to. Financial Literacy for Holiday Spending: Seniors, adults, young adults. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Become better prepared for the holidays with this financial planning workshop taught by Odette Miller, B.A. from Financial Remedy & Associates, LLC. Dinosaur Story Time: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Get ready to roar and stomp in this prehistoric story time. A a special guest will be joining this program. Participants may wear any dinosaur outfits they have. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 17 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from the library’s pattern selection. BookTok 101: Ages 19 to 25 years. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. BookTok is a TikTok community where users create and share videos about books, including reviews, discussions, and recommendations.
