Wednesday, Sept. 24

Toddler Time: For babies and toddler. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on-the-go. This program focuses on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, and more in a fun, interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Toddler Time is also a place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Preschool Storytime: For ages 3 to 5 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library for fun stories, activities, and a craft! We focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun! Preschool Storytime is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. ELL – Conversation Circle: For ages 18 years and up. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This event is designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics- including introducing oneself, sharing interests, exploring traditions, and more. No registration required.

Thursday, Sept. 25

Gentle Chair Yoga: For adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. this gentle yoga session encourages participants to relax their mind, move their body and increase their flexibility while using a chair for support. This class is ideal for those who feel stiffness or have limited mobility. This program is presented by a certified yoga instructor, who has been teaching since 2013. Friday, Sept. 26

Homeschool DIY: For ages 6 to 9 years. 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This program welcomes all who want to learn a hands-on crafting activity. This time participants will be making sensory I-Spy bottles. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

NJ Voter Information Session: For ages 16 to 18 years. 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to learn about the voting process in New Jersey elections, including information about voter eligibility and registration, when and how to cast a vote and more. A variety of resources will be shared with attendees to help understand and navigate this process.

Tuesday, Sept. 30

Community and Conversation: For ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join other adults for a relaxing afternoon of conversation and community. This month the program will offer an autumn “Make & Take Craft,” all supplies will be provided. The kit includes 1 wood pumpkin (silk leaves included), a Cricut saying, containers of acrylic paint, foam paint brush and instructions. 

Resume Basics: For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Adult residents are invited to learn the components of a strong resume and practice creating and formatting their own in this class. Participants will review the types of resumes and learn how to effectively describe their experience. Required skills for this class are basic use of a computer mouse and keyboard.Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Headshots for Young Professionals: Ages 16 to 25 years. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This session is for young professionals who are looking to have their professional headshot taken. It has been shown professional headshots lead to more LinkedIn profile views and connection requests. They also increase credibility, create a powerful first impression, and help establish a brand.

Burlington County Library System has hired professional photographer to provide participants with a headshot session. Participants will be given a choice of one complimentary digital image from their session and receive a link to their high-resolution professional headshot within a week of the event.
