Wednesday, Sept. 3

Adult Yarn Group: For ages 18 years and up. 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join other knitters and crocheters for a fun and relaxing time to work on a current project and share ideas, patterns, and tips. This is not an instructional class, but an opportunity to learn as a group from others.

Marlton Farmers Market: For all residents. 4 to 7 p.m. at at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). This will be the final day of the 2025 season for the Marlton Farmers Market. Shoppers have one final chance to enjoy locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan product and other great sustainable items. The market will also feature a water slide for kids to enjoy as well as a demonstration from a guest chef to close out the season with tips and tricks for cooking healthy. No registration required.

Thursday, Sept. 4

Marlton Senior Citizen Club: For ages 55 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 535 East Main Street. All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. Meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month at the Gibson House Community Center. Participants may enjoy coffee, donuts, regularly scheduled games, and other entertainment. Friday, Sept. 5

Zendoodle Time: For ages 10 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids in this class can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants are encouraged to bring music to listen to. Saturday, Sept. 6

Parachute Play Time: For ages 2 to 4 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to dance and jump with the parachute, rhythm, and music-based games. This program promotes hand-eye coordination, social interaction, and cooperative play. Caregivers are strongly encouraged to actively participate in the fun. The Art of Chinese Knotting: For ages 10 to 15 years. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to learn about the traditional art of Chinese knotting and create their own piece under the guidance of an experienced artist. Residents may sign up with friends or meet new ones and see what unique works of art each other makes using this ancient technique. This month the class will be crafting jewelry featuring the popular character Chi from Chi’s “Sweet Home” and “Chi’s Sweet Adventure.”

This program is presented by Ms. Ting, a craft teacher at Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School since 2018. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Monday, Sept. 8

Yoga for Little Ones: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join the library staff for a children’s yoga class, where children will get to practice child-friendly poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, and enjoy some fun games and stories. Children are encouraged to try the movements on their own to help build self-confidence and body awareness. This program is presented by Jennifer Penz of Small Wonders Yoga, a certified yoga instructor of almost 10 years. Registration required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Tuesday, Sept. 9

Drop-in Tech Help: For ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This class is for residents that have questions about navigating their email, setting up a new device or using library resources like Libby and Udemy. This event is available on a drop-in basis. Interested participants may stop by whenever is most convenient and the library’s staff will assist with any technological needs.
