Stay & Play: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Enjoy some books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts, and more. Stay & Play will end with a mini-dance time and bubbles. No registration required.
American Red Cross Blood Drive: For ages 17 years and up (16 years with parent/guardian consent). 2 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive. Appointments are preferred and can be scheduled on the Red Cross website at www.redcrossblood.org. All eligibility requirements can also be found on the site.
Marlton Farmers Market: For all residents. 4 to 7 p.m. at at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). The 2025 season of the Marlton Farmers Market is now open and will run every Wednesday afternoon through Sept. 3. Shoppers can get ready to once again enjoy locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan product and other great sustainable items. No registration required.

Watercolor Florals: For adults 18 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to be immersed in a world of watercolors as this class discovers the beauty and delicacy of floral painting. In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of blending, layering, and creating soft translucent effects that bring flowers to life on paper. Participants will be guided on the different kinds of brushes and brushstrokes for leaves, petals, and stems as they bring all of those learnings together to create a composition of flowers by the end of the workshop. This program will be presented by Smriti Sangal, a multimedia artist with over 10 years of teaching experience. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Marlton Senior Citizen Club: For ages 55 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 535 East Main Street. All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. Meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month at the Gibson House Community Center. Participants may enjoy coffee, donuts, regularly scheduled games, and other entertainment. Drop-in Tech Help: For ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This class is for residents that have questions about navigating their email, setting up a new device or using library resources like Libby and Udemy. This event is available on a drop-in basis. Interested participants may stop by whenever is most convenient and the library’s staff will assist with any technological needs.

Zendoodle Time: For ages 10 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids in this class can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants are encouraged to bring music to listen to. Crafty Scavenger Hunt – Pencil Toppers: Ages 6 to 12 years. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to stop by the library’s “Children’s Area” for a special scavenger hunt. There will be pieces to a special craft scattered around the area, participants must find them all to complete the project. No registration required. While supplies last.
Kids Coding Class – Bring Your Own Device: Ages 7 to 12 years. 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Additional spots are available to join the Marlton Kids Tech Club to learn about technology. Participants can make friends while learning how to code and more. No experience required. Participants must bring their own device that can run MIT Scratch. The library lends Chromebooks and Samsung Galaxy tablets. Both devices work with MIT Scratch. The Art of Chinese Knotting: For ages 10 to 15 years. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to learn about the traditional art of Chinese knotting and create their own piece under the guidance of an experienced artist. Residents may sign up with friends or meet new ones and see what unique works of art each other makes using this ancient technique. This program is presented by Ms. Ting, a craft teacher at Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School since 2018. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Monday Night Movies – “Jurassic World” (2015): For adults. 6 to 8:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library for an evening showing on their big screen. Seating begins at 5:50 p.m. and the movie will start 15 minutes later. “Jurassic World” takes place on a theme park full of recreated dinosaurs, it’s story follows two brothers and their aunt, a park employee, struggling for safety after a dangerous dinosaur breaks free from its enclosure.

Digital Books and more with Libby: For adults. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This program is for residents who are unfamiliar with using the library’s digital collection. Topics covered include transferring digital books to a Kindle, Nook or other devices, digital magazines or digital audiobooks, or those who have questions about navigating the library’s “Libby” app. Participants will learn the how to use the library’s digital collection and the many ways they can access and interact with it. Summer Career Readiness Workshop: For ages 16 to 25 years. 3 to4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This interactive session helps its participants develop effective communication skills for the job search process and in the workplace, understand appropriate workplace attire, and build confidence for job interviews. Attendees will learn how to present themselves professionally in various workplace settings and practice answering common interview questions through fun mock interview.
