Wednesday, July 23

Toddler Time: For ages 18 to 36 months. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on the go. This class will focus on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, etc. in a fun and interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the class with toddler. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Preschool Story Time: For ages 3 to 6 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for stories, activities, and a craft. This class focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Preschool Story Time is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. ELL – Conversation Circle: Ages 18 years and up. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This event is designed for English language learners who want to practice their language skills in a safe and supportive social space. These regular events will feature a variety of topics- including introducing oneself, sharing interests, exploring traditions, and more. No registration required.

Drop-in Tech Help: Ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This class is for residents that have questions about navigating their email, setting up a new device or using library resources like Libby and Udemy. This event is available on a drop-in basis. Interested participants may stop by whenever is most convenient and the library’s staff will assist with any technological needs.

Marlton Farmers Market: All residents. 4 to 7 p.m. at at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). The 2025 season of the Marlton Farmers Market is now open and will run every Wednesday afternoon through Sept. 3. Shoppers can get ready to once again enjoy locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan product and other great sustainable items. No registration required.

Gentle Chair Yoga: For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to relax their mind, move their body and increase their flexibility in this gentle yoga session. Using a chair for support, this class is perfect for those who tend to be stiff or have limited mobility. This program is presented by a certified yoga instructor, who has been teaching since 2013. Friday, July 25

Stay & Play: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Enjoy some books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts, and more. Stay & Play will end with a mini-dance time and bubbles. No registration required.

Monday, July 28

Yoga for Little Ones: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join the library staff for a children’s yoga class, where children will get to practice child-friendly poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, and enjoy some fun games and stories. Children are encouraged to try the movements on their own to help build self-confidence and body awareness. This program is presented by Jennifer Penz of Small Wonders Yoga, a certified yoga instructor of almost 10 years. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Wings of Fire Fest: Ages 10 to 15 years. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to visit the library for this event geared toward fans of fantasy novel series “Wings of Fire.” This extravaganza is for Pyrrhian fans, Pantalan fans or just dragon enthusiasts in general. Participants will be playing minute-to-win-it games, making crafts and more. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Tuesday, July 29

First Chapter Book Group: Ages 6 to 12 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This group for kids is a great way to learn about a variety of books and books series. Participants will have a snack and get a sneak peak into a new book each month. After reading the first chapter (sometimes more), the class will play games or do a craft related to the book. Books will be provided, and it is not required to read ahead of time. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Jane Austen Philosophy – Pride Prejudice, and Injustice: Ages 18 years and up. 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. In this interactive discussion class participants will explore philosophical questions of justice in the novel “Pride and Prejudice.” Questions of discussion will include: What are some of the different types of injustice, particularly those experienced by women? How do these types of injustice affect people, both in the world of Jane Austen and today?

Interested participants are not required to know the plot of “Pride and Prejudice” to participate in this conversation. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
