Wednesday, July 16

Adult Yarn Group: Ages 18 years and up. 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join other knitters and crocheters for a fun and relaxing time to work on a current project and share ideas, patterns, and tips. This is not an instructional class, but an opportunity to learn as a group from others.

Intro to Excel: Ages 18 years and up. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Get started with Microsoft Excel. Students will learn the basics of Excel, from getting familiar with the interface to using pre-made templates to setting up spreadsheets with simple functions and visual styling. Alternatives to Excel, as well as how to set up and maintain a personal home budget, will also be covered. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Marlton Farmers Market: All residents. 4 to 7 p.m. at at Evesboro Downs Park (131 Evesboro-Medford Road). The 2025 season of the Marlton Farmers Market is now open and will run every Wednesday afternoon through Sept. 3. Shoppers can get ready to once again enjoy locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, home goods, food trucks, artisan product and other great sustainable items. No registration required.

Disco Ball Paint Class: Ages 13 to 15 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to get ready to boogie as Ms. Kaiya teaches step-by step on how to paint a disco ball. Interested residents should dress for the mess as this class includes the use of acrylic paint. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Friday, July 18

Zendoodle Time: For ages 10 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids in this class can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants are encouraged to bring music to listen to. Saturday, July 19

The Art of Chinese Knotting: For ages 10 to 15 years. 1 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to learn about the traditional art of Chinese knotting and create their own piece under the guidance of an experienced artist. Residents may sign up with friends or meet new ones and see what unique works of art each other makes using this ancient technique. This program is presented by Ms. Ting, a craft teacher at Cherry Hill Huaxia Chinese School since 2018. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Cozy Crochet: Ages 13 to 18 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from the library’s pattern selectionBeginners are welcome and can learn basic stitches to get started on a project. Anime, Movies, and More – Teen Edition: Ages 13 to 15 years. 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This event is a casual gathering for new and seasoned anime fans. This month the class will watch 3 to 4 episodes of an anime chosen by the group. Light refreshments will be available. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Tuesday, July 22

Summer Night Sky Paint-Along for Adults: Ages 18 years and up. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The library is kicking off Summer at the library’s “Color Our World” theme with a relaxing painting session. Participants will be using acrylics on canvas to create a colorful painting of a night sky over pine trees. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.

Emerging Adults – Bad Art Night: Ages 19 to 25 years. 6 to 7 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Sometimes it’s fun to create something and not worry about the outcome being perfect. Residents are invited to come have a relaxing time with the library’s art materials and meet new people. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
