Adult Yarn Group: For ages 18 years and up. 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Adult residents are invited to come join other knitters and crocheters for a fun and relaxing time to work on their current project and chat about ideas, patterns, and tips. This is not an instructional class, but is an opportunity to learn as a group from each other. No registration required.
Marlton Senior Citizen Club: Ages 55 years and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 535 East Main Street. All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. Meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month at the Gibson House Community Center. Participants may enjoy coffee, donuts, regularly scheduled games, and other entertainment. Gentle Chair Yoga: For ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to relax their mind, move their body and increase their flexibility in this gentle yoga session. Using a chair for support, this class is perfect for those who tend to be stiff or have limited mobility. This program is presented by a certified yoga instructor, who has been teaching since 2013. Medicare with Confidence: For ages 65 and up. 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This class is for residents aged 65 or those interested in learning more about Medicare. This educational seminar will educate participants on Medicare basics, important terminology, enrollment periods, plans available and cost assistance. Medicare is not one-size-fits-all. Baby Time: For babies and toddlers. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a fun-filled interactive event, which includes stories, rhymes, movement, and more. This class will focus on baby’s early language and literacy understanding through stories and repetitive rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this bonding experience. Baby Time is also a place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Join Miss Michelle as she focuses on the theme zoo animals. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Zendoodle Time: For ages 10 to 12 years. 4 to 4:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids in this class can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants are encouraged to bring music to listen to. Stories & STEM: Ages 5 to 8 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to listen to a book, then try a STEM challenge related to the story. This month’s challenge is based off of “The Relatives Came” by Cynthia Rylant. We will be using LEGOS to design bedrooms for all of the relatives who are visiting.Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Cozy Crochet: Ages 13 to 16 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters or start a new project from the library’s pattern selection. Monday Night Movies – Kinky Boots: For adults. 6 to 8:15 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join the library staff for an evening showing on their big screen. The event will open for seating at 6 p.m. and the movie will start fifteen minutes later.
The movie being screened will be “Kinky Boots,” a Golden Globe-nominated film that tells the story of the unlikely partnership between a shoe factory owner, Charlie, and a drag queen, as the two come up with a genius idea to save Charlie’s struggling business.

Ask the Master Gardeners: For adults. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This class is for residents who may have lawn or garden questions. Residents may come and ask the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Burlington County. If possible, participants should bring a sample or take pictures of their issue. All samples must be placed in a sealable plastic bag or container. Participants should note some questions may not be able to be answered at the time of their visit. They may require further research by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of the Burlington County Office staff. No registration required.
